Festive Friday – 100th Challenge – #FF100

WOW! Festive Friday is celebrating their 100th Challenge! Nicole Watt, Ann Schach and Beth McCullough started the Festive Friday Challenge in 2018 and since then there have been some amazing Design Team members added.

This is the Inspiration list and from this list we have to pick at least 3 items to create our cards. I chose Celebration, Gold and Patterned Paper.

Here are the instructions to create my card:

1. Start with a card base of Blackberry Bliss cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored and folded at 4 1/4″
2. Basic White card base is cut at 4″ x 5 1/4″. This layer is embossed with the Painted Texture Embossing folder and adhered to the card base with liquid glue
3. Cut a piece of the Blackberry Bliss card stock 1 3/8″ x 5 1/4″
4. Cut a piece of the Blackberry Bliss DSP from the Regals 6 x 6 Designers Series Assorted pack
5. Attach these two layers together and attach to the right of the card
6. Die cut a tag using the Tailored Tag dies in Fresh Freesia and a reinforcement in Blackberry Bliss and glue it over the hole
7. From the Gold Foil Sheet, die cut 2 of the scalloped circles using the Painted Labels dies
8. Stagger a circle on each side of the label with Stampin Seal and attach the label to the card on a slight angle using dimensionals
9. Die cut the pansy petals in Basic White and sponge the edges in Blackberry Bliss. Sponge the center of the petals with Fresh Freesia ink
10. Die cut the face of the pansy from Blackberry Bliss card stock
11. Die cut the leaf out of Old Olive card stock
12. Attach the leaf to the pansy with liquid glue
13. Assemble the pansy with dimensionals, and attach the pansy to the tag with dimensionals
14. Add a large gold Genial Gem to the center of the pansy
15. Stamp the sentiment on a piece of Basic White cut at 7/8″ x 1 3/4″ from the Peaceful Moments Stamp set in Memento Black ink
16. Cut a strip using the decorative border die from the Painted Labels die in Basic White and glue it to the bottom of the sentiment piece
17. Glue the sentiment to the bottom of the tag
18. Add a piece of the 3/8″ Fresh Freesia Open Weave Ribbon through the hole in the tag and tie it with White Bakers Twine
19. Attach a glue dot to the Bumblebee Trinket and attach it to the card
