Crafty Collaborations – Florals – Everyday Details – Happy Birthday

It’s time once again for the Stampin Dreams Blog Hop. The theme for this month’s Blog Hop is Florals. I decided to use the Everyday Details stamp set. I wanted to add some larger flowers to the cups as well. After a lengthily search, I decided the little flower from the Nature’s Prints (soon to retire), looked similar to the flowers in the tea cup and that they would work. The little leaves are from the Irresistible Bloom stamp set. The tag is from the Tailored Made Tags (which will also be retiring). The sentiment is from the Inked & Tiled stamp set (retiring soon)

Cutting and Instructions to create this card:

1. Card base is Pool Party card stock cut 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored and folded at 4 1/4″
2. The front of the card is embossed with the Timeworn Type 3D embossing folder
3. Cut a piece of the Pool Party 6×6 Assortment Designer Series pack 1 1/2″ x 5 1/4″, adhere directly to the card base with liquid glue
4. On a piece of Basic White card stock, stamp 3 of the tea cups images from the Everyday Details, some of the small flower from the Nature’s Prints stamp set and some small leaves from the Irresistible Blooms stamp set all in Tuxedo Black Memento ink
5. Color the images with Stamp Blends. I used light and dark Pool Party, light and dark Daffodil Delight, light and dark Granny Apple Green
6. Fussy cut the images out and add them to the card with dimensionals. Stacking the cup above each other
7. Stamp a sentiment in Pool Party ink onto a piece of Basic White card stock
8. Die cut the sentiment using the Tailored Made Tags
9. Add some of the small leaves to the tag
10. Color a piece of Silver Sheer ribbon with dark Pool Party Stampin Blends and insert it into the tag hole. Color a piece of the White twine from the Baker’s Twine Essentials pack in Pool Party and tie around the piece of ribbon to secure it to the tag
11. Add the tag to the card with dimensionals
12. Add some Basic Rhinestones to finish the card
