It’s time once again for a Festive Friday Challenge. This Challenge was designed by several talented Demonstrators from all over the World. For the Challenge we are given a list of 10 inspirational items to pick from to create a card, and we must pick at least 3 items from the list.
For my card I used Red, Punch and Twine
Cutting and Instructions to create my card:
- Cardbase is Basic White cardstock cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored and folded at 4 1/4″
- Cut Designer Series paper from the New Design A Daydream Host Designer Paper, 1 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and attach to the left side of the card
- Die cut the back layer of the large and small poppies using the Poppy Moment Die set in the 2022-2024 In Color Glimmer Paper in Sweet Sorbet
- Put a piece of the Adhesive sheets on the back side of a piece of Sweet Sorbet cardstock
- Die cut the layering layer of the poppies in the Sweet Sorbet cardstock and attack to the glimmer layer
- Die cut the centers for the poppies in Basic Black and attack to the poppies
- Die cut the leaves in Mossy Meadow and Old Olive cardstock and layer them together with liquid glue
- Pop up the large poppy with dimensionals and arrange the smaller poppies and leaves on the card before gluing them down so you can tuck the leaves under the poppies
- Make a couple of loops using the gold trim from the Simply Elegant Trim pack
- Stamp a sentiment from the Celebrating You stamp set in Memento Black ink
- Die cut the sentiment out with the Natural Prints die
- Die cut in again in Sweet Sorbet cardstock
- Cut the Sweet Sorbet layer in half lengthwise and attach it to the Basic White sentiment, giving it the layered look
- Pop it up on the card with dimensionals
- Place some Pale Papaya 2021-2023 In Color Opal Round gems on the card
