It’s time to participate in Kylie’s Monthly International Blog Hop for September. I am so honoured to be able to participate in the Challenge. This challenge is a gallery of Demonstrators’ projects from all over the world and then our cards are voted on. The theme of this challenge is ‘Thank You’. I decided I wanted to play with the Fond of Autumn Bundle in the July to December Mini Catalogue. I love to color and show stampers that coloring does not have to be intimidating. This is a very simple card layout as well.
Here are the instructions and cutting for this card:
- Card base is basic White card stock cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored and folded at 4 1/4″
- Basic White Card stock cut at 4′ x 5 1/4″, embossed with the Timeworn Type 3D Folder and adhered to the card front
- Cut a piece of the Pumpkin Pie 6 x 6 Assorted Designer Series Paper, 2″ x 3 1/2″
- Attach to card on a slight angle
- Cut a strip of Granny Apple Green card stock that is 1/2″ x 5 1/4″ flagging the one end and attach directly over the Designer Series Paper
- Stamp out the large image from the Fond of Autumn stamp set and a few of the smaller flowers from the set in Memento Black Ink
- Die cut them using the Autumn Bouquet dies
- Color the flowers and leaves with Stampin Blends. I used Light and Dark Pumpkin Pie, Light and Dark Granny Apple Green, Light and Dark Daffodil Delight
- Stamp a sentiment in Versa Mark and then heat emboss in gold onto a piece of Basic White card stock that is 2 7/8″ x 1 1/2″
- Put the gold sentiment layer onto a piece of the Pumpkin Pie Assorted Designer Series Pack
- Pop the sentiment layer over the Granny Apple Green strip with dimensionals
- Pop the flowers on the sentiment layer with dimensional
- Place some Champagne Rhinestone on the card for some bling
