Stampin Up – Framed Florets Birthday Card

Cutting and instructions to create this card:

  1. Card base is Balmy Blue 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored and folded at 4 1/4″
  2. Basic White layer is 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ adhered directly to card base
  3. Balmy Blue cut at 2 1/2″ x 5″
  4. Basic White layer is 2 3/8″ x 4 7/8″ embossed with Timeworn Type 3D embossing folder and adhere to Balmy Blue layer
  5. Tie a piece of the Metallic Mesh ribbon around this layer, glue directly to card base
  6. Balmy Blue card stock cut at 2 1/8″ x 4 1/8″
  7. Cut a piece of the Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper 2″ x 4″ , attach with glue and add to card with diminsionals
  8. Stamp the flower image from the Framed Floret stamp set in Memento Black ink and die cut using the matching Framed florets die
  9. Color the image with Stampin Blends. I used Light and Dark Balmy Blue, Light and Dark So Saffron and Light and Dark Mint Macaron
  10. Heat emboss a sentiment from the Go To Greetings with Silver Embossing Powder
  11. Die cut it using the die from Merriest Moments die set
  12. Die cut it again in Night of Navy card stock
  13. Cut the Night of Navy layer in half and attach to the back of the sentiment, giving it a layered look
  14. Attach the sentiment to the card with dimensionals
  15. Add the flower image to the card with dimensionals
  16. Color some Basic Rhinestones with Dark Balmy Blue Blends and add to the card for some bling
