Have you seen the New Fitting Florets Collection yet? The Framed Florets Stamp Set and matching Framed Florets Dies that will be featured in the New January – June 2023 Mini Catalogue. The complete collection consists of a stamp set, dies, 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper, some gold gems and a Christmas stamp set. The whole collection is available for customers now. Unfortunately the Fitting Floret Designers Series Paper, the Gold Adhesive Backed Swirl gems, and the Framed & Festive Christmas Stamp set will only be available while supplies last.
I created this Interlocking Gate Folded card with the Stamp set, the Dies and the Designers Series Paper.
Cutting and instructions to create this card:
- Card base is Basic White card stock 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, to get a better match at the center of the fold, score only one end at 2 1/8″, then butt the other end up to the folded piece and score
- Cut 2 pieces of Designer Series Paper from the Fitting Florets 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper at 2″ x 5 3/8″
- Attach the Designer Series Paper to the front panels with liquid glue
- Die cut an oval frame in Silver Foil and also in Basic White card stock using the Framed Florets Dies
- Stamp a sentiment in Memento Black ink on the inside piece of the Basic White card stock oval using the Framed Florets stamp set
- Stamp two of the single flower images, some leaves and foliage from the Framed Florets stamp set in Memento Black ink
- Color the stamped images with Stampin Blends. I used Light and Dark Balmy Blue, Light and Dark So Saffron and Light and Dark Mint Macaron
- Die cut these images out using the matching dies from the Framed Florets die set
- Place the Silver oval on the left side of the card, only putting glue on the left side of the oval
- Place the Basic White inside oval to the right side of the card interlocking the two ovals, only gluing the right side of the oval
- Close the card, interlocking the ovals and place the flowers, leaves and foliage on the white oval and the silver frame with dimensionals and liquid glue
- Place some Basic Rhinestones on the card for some added bling
- Stamp a sentiment on the inside of the card with Memento Black Ink
