I love playing with the Trucking Along Stamp set. I decided I wanted my truck to be shiny. I covered my stamped and colored truck with packing tape and fussy cut it so there were no white lines around it. I stamped the trees directly on the card layer and added some more with dimensionals to create a forest. I stamped the clouds in the sky, then masked the clouds before blending the sky.
Cutting and Instructions to create this card:
- Card base is Balmy Blue card stock cut at 8 1/2” x 5 1/2”, scored at 4 1/4″ for a landscape card
- Basic White card stock layer is 4” x 5 1/4”
- Stamp the clouds on the card layer
- Make masks to cover the clouds
- Using Blending Brushes lightly brush the sky in Balmy Blue, the road in Crumb cake and the grass in Old Olive
- Stamp a sentiment from the Go To Greeting in the sky with Memento Black ink
- Stamps some trees on the edge of the road, some road lines on the road and grass on the edge of the road and in the grass
- Color the trees with Stampin Blends, using Light and Dark Old Olive and SU 500 (Medium Light)
- On a scrape of Basic White card stock, stamp the truck in Orchid Oasis, some more trees and a cloud (color the truck window to match what is behind the truck)
