I would like to thank everyone that voted for my card in Kylie Bertucci’s International Monthly Blog Highlight Challenge for September. With all your votes my card was voted #8 and I’m able to participate in the Top Ten Winners Blog.
This card was make with the Cheerful Daisies Bundle. The sentiment is from the Go To Greetings, which is an all time favorite of mine. The card stock is the new Bubble Bath and the Designer Series Paper is the Subtles 6×6 Designer Series Assortment Pack in Bubble Bath. The embossing folder is the Thatched Basic 3D embossing folder found in the Online Exclusive section.
Cutting and Instructions to create this card:
- Card base is Bubble Bath card stock cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
- Emboss the front of the Bubble Bath card stock with the Thatched Basic 3D embossing folder.
- Cut a piece of Basic White card stock at 3 3/4″ x 4 1/4″ and adhere to the middle of the card using liquid glue
- Cut a piece of the Bubble Bath Designer Series Paper from the 6×6 Subtle Designer Series Assorted Pack, 3 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ and glue to the Basic White layer
- Die cut the large 3 daisy die on Basic White. Die cut the other layers of daisies in Basic White card stock as well
- Layer the daisies together with liquid glue
- On a scrape piece of Basic White card stock, stamp the leaves in Garden Green ink and the centers of the daisies in Wild Wheat ink. Die cut these with the matching dies
- Atttach the daisies to the card base with dimensionals
- Attach the flower centers to the flowers with a dimensional and the leaves with a glue dot
- Stamp a sentiment from the Go To Greeting in Garden Green ink on a piece of Basic White card stock
- Die cut the sentiment with the matching die
- Adhere the sentiment to the card with dimensionals
- Tie a bow using the Gold Simply Elegant Trim and attach to the card with a glue dot
- For some bling add some pink gems from the Tinsel Gems Three Pack
