It’s time for another Monochromatic Insta Hop. This hop is where we make cards using only one color. This is not a technique I use very often, but great cards can be created with only one ink pad and matching card stock and /or designer series paper! This weeks Monochromatic Color is Pumpkin Pie. I decided to use the Two Tone Floral stamp set and matching dies (soon to be retiring) and did the stamping off effect, giving the flowers a two tone look. The leaves and dots are stamped directly on the Basic White card stock. The sentimental flag is from the Stylish Shaped dies and cut smaller, then the edges are sponged with a sponge dauber in Pumpkin Pie ink. The sentiment is from Layering Leaves.

Cutting and Instructions to create this card:

Card Base is Basic White card stock, cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored and folded at 4 1/4″
Pumpkin Pie card stock layer is 4″ x 5 1/4″, adhered directly to card base with liquid glue
Basic White layer is 3 3/4″ x 5 1/8″
On another piece of Basic White card stock, stamp the flowers from the Two Tone Flora stamp set. Stamp the detailed image in Pumpkin Pie ink and then stamp off the matching filler stamp also with Pumpkin Pie ink.
Die cut the flowers using the Two Tone Flora dies
On the Basic White card stock layer, do a trial placing of the flowers and decide where you want to stamp the leaves and the dots in Pumpkin Pie ink
Add the flowers to the card with dimensionals
On a scrap piece of Basic White card stock, stamp a sentiment from the Layering Leaves stamp set in Pumpkin Pie ink
Die cut it with the largest flag die from the Stylish Shaped dies
Cut the tag to the size you want and sponge the edges with a sponge dauber and Pumpkin Pie ink. Add it to the card with dimensionals
Place some Iridescent Rhinestone s to finish the card
