Fitting Florets – Birthday Card

I used the new Fitting Floret Suite to make this Birthday card. This is a sneak peek of a Bundle that will be in the new Jan to June Mini catalogue. This bundle comes as a Suite with beautiful Designer Series Paper and Gold Adhesive-Backed Swirl Gems. This Suite is available for Demonstrators right now and customers will be able to order in November. The Designer Series paper and the gems are only available for a limited time.

Details to create this card:

  1. Card base is Polish Pink card stock cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored and folded at 4 1/4″
  2. Layer of Basic White card stock cut at 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″
  3. Emboss the Basic White card stock layer with the Timeworn Type 3D embossing folder
  4. Adhere to the card base with liquid glue
  5. Stamp the flower images and some of the leaves from the Fitting Floret stamp set in Memento Black ink
  6. Color the images with Stampin Blends. I used Light and Dark Polished Pink, Light and Dark Mint Macaron and Light and Dark So Saffron. Die cut the flowers and leaves with the matching dies from the Fitting Floret die set
  7. Cut out an oval using the Fitting Florets die in Brushed Metallic Gold foil
  8. Use the Stamparatus and stamped a sentiment on the gold foil with Black Stazon ink. (I tried the Black Embossing power but the gold foil buckled). The Stamparatus allows you to stamp the image in the same place if you need to get a good image
  9. Glue the Gold sentiment piece directly to the embossed layer with liquid glue
  10. Place the flowers on the oval with dimensionals and the leaves with glue dots
  11. Add some Gold Festive Pearls for some bling.
