Happy Hibiscus – Pink Edging – Happy Birthday

Cutting and instructions to create this card

  1. Card base is Basic White card stock cut at 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4
  2. Card layer is Flirty Flamingo card stock cut at 4 1/8 x 5 3/8, adhere directly to card base with liquid glue
  3. Basic White card stock layer is cut 4 x 5 1/4
  4. Emboss the Basic White layer with the Happy Hibiscus embossing folder
  5. Place the Happy Hibiscus die for the three flowers into the Happy Hibiscus embossing folder and run it through the large Cut and Embossing machine together
  6. Also die cut some of the leaves in Basic White card stock
  7. Using a small Blending Blush, brush some Bubble Bath link onto the edges of the flowers.
  8. Brush the flowers again with Flirty Flamingo but just on the edges to create a two tone flower
  9. Use the Lemon Lolly Stampin Write marker and color the centers of the flowers
  10. Color the leaves with Granny Apple ink and color them the same way
  11. Arrange the flowers and leaves on the embossed layer and adhere them with dimensionals and glue dots
  12. Die cut a circle about 1 3/8 in Basic White
  13. Stamp a sentiment on the Basic White card stock with Versa Mark and heat emboss in Gold embossing powder
  14. Pop the sentiment to the card with dimensionals
  15. Tie a bow with gold twine and add to the flowers. The gold twine I used is retired but you can use the Gold Twisted Thread. Add to the card with a glue dot
  16. Add some pink embellishments
