I would like to thank everyone that voted for my card in Kylie Bertucci’s International Monthly Blog Highlight Challenge for October. With all your votes, my card was voted #8 and I’m able to participate in the Top Ten Winners Blog.
This card was made with the Gorgeously Made die and the Deckled Circle dies. The sentiment is from the All About Autumn stamp set. The foils are the Distressed Gold and the Oxidized Copper Specialty Paper.
Cutting and Instructions to create this card:
- Card base is Lost Lagoon card stock cut at 4 1/4″ x 11″ scored and folded at 5 1/2″
- First layer is Pretty Peacock card stock cut at 4″ x 5 1/4″
- Emboss the Pretty Peacock card stock layer with the Thatched 3D Basic embossing folder and adhere to the card base with liquid glue
- On a piece of Lost Lagoon card stock, stamp some splatters from the Color & Contour stamp set
- Cut this card stock layer 2″ x 4 1/4″ and emboss with the Distressed Tile 3D embossing folder
- Cut a piece of the Pretty Peacock Oxidized Copper Specialty Foil Paper at 2 1/4″ x 4 1/2″ and glue to the embossed card stock layer
- Pop this layer up on the card with dimensionals
- Die cut 2 circles in the Gold Distressed Foil paper with the Deckled Circle dies
- Place these circles under the Pretty Peacock embossed card stock and the Pretty Peacock Oxidized Foil layer with dimensionals
- Die cut the leaves from the Gorgeously Made die, in Gold Distressed Specialty Paper and add to the card with dimensionals
- Stamp a sentiment from the All About Autumn stamp set in Pretty Peacock ink on a strip of Lost Lagoon card stock
- Layer the sentiment onto a piece of Pretty Peacock card stock and add to the card with dimensionals
- Tie a bow with the copper ribbon from the Copper & Natural Combo Pack and add to the card with glue dots
- To finish the card add some copper sequins from the Neutrals Adhesive Backed Sequins
