I am so pleased to once again be able to participate in Kylie Bertucci’s International Top Ten Winners Blog Hop. Thank you to everyone that took a little time in their busy day and voted for my card. My card was voted#5. With all your votes I am able to participate in an International Blog Hop with the Top Ten Winners for the month of January. I decided to use one of the bundles from the Online Exclusive Collection, the Irresistible Blooms. This is still one of my favorite bundles in the Online Exclusives.
I got this idea from one of Tami Whites’ videos. It’s called the Circle Wreath card.
Cutting and Instructions to create this card:
- Card base is Basic White card stock, cut at 5 1/4″ x 5 1/4″, scored at 2 5/8″
- Basic White layer, cut at 2 1/2″ x 5″
- Fold the card base layer at the fold line and then open up the layer and die cut a circle in the middle using the 3rd smallest Deckled Circle die and also in the top of the 2 1/2″ x 5″ layer (*Check the photo below )
- Emboss the small Basic White layer with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder
- On a piece of Basic White card stock, 3 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ and make a circle frame using the 3rd and 5th circles (counting from the center out)
- Stamp some of the flowers from the Irresistible Bloom stamp set in Boho Blue ink and the leaves in Granny Apple Green ink
- Die cut some gold leaves in the Distressed Gold Specialty Paper using the Thoughtful Expression dies
- Using a Blending Brush, lightly brush one of the small butterflies from the Paper Butterfly Accents in Daffodil Delight ink
- Assemble the flowers, leaves and gold leaves on the circle with dimensionals and pop the butterfly pop on the circle with a glue dot (taking care that the elements will still fit in an envelope)
- Stamp a sentiment from the Go To Greeting in Boho Blue ink and add it to the card with dimensionals
- Add some of the gold Festive Pearls to finish the card
