I am so excited to have been voted as one of the Top 10 Winners in Kylie’s International Highlights Blog Hop. Thank you everyone for voting for my card. This is the card that I entered in the Hop.
My card was #8 of the Top 10 Winners. Thank you very much everyone that voted for my card. With winning the Top 10, I get to enter another card with all the other Top 10 Winners. This is my card. I used the Flowering Fields DSP and the Timeless Tulips Stamp set and the Tulip Builder Punch.
Here are the cutting and instructions for my card:
- Card base is Blackberry Bliss card stock cut at 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ scored and folded at 4-1/4″.
- Cut a piece of the Flowering Fields Designer Series Paper at 5-1/4″ x 4″ and adhere to the card base.
- Die cut a large tag in Fresh Freesia card stock using the Tailored Made Tags.
- Stamp a sentiment on the tag in Blackberry Bliss.
- Emboss the tag with the Tasteful Texture embossing folder.
- Tie a piece of the Fresh Freesia Open Weave Ribbon onto the tag and then tie a bow using the white twine from the Baker’s Twine Essential Pack.
- Attach the tag to the card with dimensionals.
- Die circle a large circle from the Laying Circle Dies in Vellum.
- Stamp the tulips in Fresh Freesia ink and using a sponge dauber sponge alone the edges of the tulip to give it a little bit of highlights.
- Stamp the leaves in Soft Succulent ink.
- Using the Tulip Builder Punch, punch out the large tulip and the leaf. The rest of the tulips and leaves are fussy cut.
- Arrange the tulips and leaves on the vellum attaching them to the vellum with dimensionals.
- Using liquid glue, attach the vellum circle to the tag but only put glue on the vellum where the tulip and leaves are so the glue will not show.
- For a little bling add a Brushed Brass Butterfly to the vellum as well.
Who doesn’t love tulips?! Lovely card Marilyn. Congrats on making it to the Top Ten Blog Hop this month!
Your card is beautiful, and a great use of the DSP, Marilyn!!
