It’s time once again for another Festive Friday Challenge. This challenge is designed by several talented Demonstrators from all around the world. We are given a list of 10 inspirational items for pick from and we must use at least 3 to create our card. This weeks challenge is National Family PJ Day FF#0121. I decided to use Family Sentiment, Paper Folding and Circles to create my card. The Designer Series Paper is on the clearance list but it was one of my favorite papers. Have you seen the New Fitting Florets Collection? This collection includes a Framed Florets Stamp Set and Framed Florets Dies that will be featured in the New January – June Mini Catalogue. The collection consists of a stamp set, dies, 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper, some gold gems and a Christmas stamp set. The collection is available for customers now. Unfortunately the Fitting Floret Designers Series Paper, the Gold Adhesive Backed Swirl gems, and the Framed & Festive Christmas Stamp set will only be available while supplies last.

I created this Gate Folded card with the Stamp set, the Dies and the Designers Series Paper.

I love playing with the New Framed Florets Bundle that will be in the New January – June Mini Catalogue. This Bundle comes as a collection that is available for customers now. The collection comes with the Framed Florets Stamp Set, Framed Florets Dies, Fitting Florets 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper and Gold Adhesive Backed Swirled Gems and a Christmas Stamp set called Framed and Festive. Unfortunately only the Framed Florets stamp set and dies will be in the new January to June Mini Catalogue. For this card I used a card Sketch from Stampin With Diane, Diane Evans.

It’s time for another Canada Inks Up! Team Blog Hop. We are a group of Canadian Demonstrators that love to share the projects we make and hope you get some ideas and tips from what we share. This month’s Blog Hop is Silver, Purple and Black. My first thought was a Halloween card but I decided to make a card using the Fresh Cut Flowers stamps set and use the Heat Embossing technique on Vellum.

Here are the cutting instructions and details for my card:

1. Card base is Basic Black card stock cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored and folded at 4 1/4″
2. Layer 1 is Highland Heather card stock cut at 4″ x 5 1/4″
3. Emboss the Highland Heather layer with the Timeworn 3D Embossing folder and adhere directly to the black card base with liquid glue
4. Cut a piece of Vellum card stock 3 1/4″ x 4 3/8″
5. Using Versamark, stamp an image from the Fresh Cut Flowers stamp set and heat emboss with Silver Embossing Powder
6. Turn the vellum over and color the back of the image with Stampin Blends. I used Dark Highland Heather and Dark Old Olive. For the colors to show from the front of the vellum you may need to use darker colors
7. Adhere the vellum to the card with glue dots. Place the glue dots on places they will not be seen. Use a sponge and lightly sponge some liquid glue on the corners of the vellum, by lightly sponging the glue it will not be seen on the vellum
8. Stamp a sentiment from the Go To Greetings stamp set in Versamark and heat emboss with silver embossing powder
9. Attack the sentiment to the card with dimensionals
10. Tie a small bow using the Silver Simply Elegant Trim and attach with a glue dot
11. Place some Basic Rhinestones on the card for some bling

I am so excited to be participating in the Festive Friday Challenge once again.

This challenge is designed by several talented Demonstrators from all around the world. We are given a list of 10 inspirational items for pick from and we must use at least 3 to create our card. This weeks challenge is Farmer’s Day FF#0119. I decided to create a card using the Peekaboo Farm stamp set.

The inspirational items I used were Farm Animals, Green, Die Cut and Thank You Sentiment

Here are the details to create my card:

1. Card base is Basic White card stock cut at 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored and folded at 4 1/4″ forming a landscape card
2. Next layer is Basic White card stock 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ and this is our focal image
3. To form the hills, I used a piece of copy paper and cut it to make a template for the hills and used a Blending Brush and lightly sponged it with Old Olive ink
4. Lightly sponge the sky with Balmy Blue ink
5. Stamp some trees on the hills from the Grassy Grove stamp set in Mossy Meadow ink
6. Stamp a sentiment in Memento Ink on the sky
7. Adhere this layer directly to the card base with liquid glue
8. The clouds were die cut from the Waves Die in Snowy White 12 x 12 Velvet paper
9. On a piece of Basic White card stock, stamp the stone wall stamp from the Peekaboo Farm stamp set several times forming the wall. Stamp them close together to make a continuous wall
10. Stamp three of the farm animals from the stamp set in Memento Black
11. Color the stones on the wall and the animals with Stampin Blends and fussy cut the animals
12. Adhere the wall and the animals to the card with dimensionals
