I love how this Christmas card has turned out. I saw a card similar to this on Pinterest that Su Mohr made and decided to case it with a few small changes. I colored the bird from Perched In A Tree stamp set with Stampin Blends. The Designer Series Paper is Painted Christmas, the tag is from the Tailored Tag Dies and die cut in the 6×6 Soft Succulent Designer Series Paper.
Cutting and instructions to create this card:
- Card base is Evening Evergreen cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored and folded at 4 1/4″
- Die cut a piece of Soft Succulent card stock with the largest Stitched Rectangle die and glue directly to the card base
- Die cut a piece of the Painted Christmas Designer Series Paper with the next largest Stitched Rectangle die and glue that directly to the Soft Succulent card stock layer
- Die cut the second largest Tailored Made Tag die in the Soft Succulent 6×6 Designer Series Paper
- Stamp the bird and branch image from the Perched In A Tree stamp set in Memento Black ink. Die cut it with the matching Aspen Tree dies. Color the images with Stampin Blends. I used Light and Dark Crumb Cake, and Light Gray Granite for the bird and Light and Dark Soft Suede for the branch.
- Tie a piece of the Gold Simply Elegant Trim to the tag and pop the card up with dimensionals
- Place the bird and branch on the card using dimensionals
- Stamp the sentiment from the Perched In A Tree stamp set in Evening Evergreen ink and fussy cut it out and place on the card with a dimensional
- Place some gold Festive Pearls on the card for some bling
