I made this card using the soon to retire Perched In A tree stamp set and the Aspen Dies. This card is a Z fold, using the Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper.
Cutting and Instructions to create this card:
- Card base is Misty Moonlight card stock, cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/4″, scored at 2 1/8″ and 4 1/4″
- Fold the card base at the 4 1/4″ mark and then fold back the 2 1/8 to form a Z fold card
- Cut a piece of Balmy Blue card stock at 1 7/8″ x 5 1/4″
- Emboss the Balmy Blue card stock with the Basic 3D embossing folder and adhere to the 2 1/8″ folded card layer
- Cut a piece of the Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper, 2 1/4″ x 5 1/4″ and attach it to the inside of the card
- Cut a piece of Basic White card stock, 1 7/8″ x 5 1/4″ and adhere to the left of the Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper on the inside of the card, giving a place to write
- Die cut a 3 1/4″ circle in Basic White card stock using the Deckled Circle dies
- Stamp the bird in Memento Black ink and the branch in Smokey Slate ink using the Perched in a Tree stamp set and also die cut two of the smaller leaves from the Aspen Tree dies in Misty Moonlight card stock
- Color the bird using Stampin Blends. I used Balmy Blue, Boho Blue and Smokey Slate Blends
- Die cut the bird and the branch of using the Aspen Tree dies
- Using the Balmy Blue ink and a blending brush, light brush some ink on the Deckled Circle
- Attach the bird to the circle with some dimensionals and glue the branch in place under the bird with liquid glue
- Attach the leaves over the branch with dimensionals
- On a scrap of Boho Blue card stock, stamp a sentiment from the Inked and Tiled stamp set in Versa Mark and heat emboss in Silver embossing powder
- Attach to the card with dimensionals
- To finish the card add some Basic Rhinestone
