Stampin Up – Lazy Days

If you love making scenic cards, then this is a fun bundle to play with. I used the Lazy Days Bundle and created my own background. I stamped, die cut and also fussy cut out the images. Can’t you just see yourself enjoying a lemonade, sitting in the rocking chair, listening to the birds sing.

Cutting Instructions and Products used to create this card:

  1. Card base is Misty Moonlight card stock, cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored and folded at 4 1/4″.
  2. Basic White card stock layer is 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″
  3. Stamp the clouds with Smoky Slate ink, then place a paper mask over the images and lightly sponge Balmy Blue ink for the sky with a Blending Brush.
  4. Stamp the wooden deck for the patio floor in Smoky Slate ink.
  5. Stamp the rug in Misty Moonlight ink on top of the wooden deck.
  6. Adhere this layer to the card base with liquid glue.
  7. Stamp the images you want for the patio in Memento Black ink, on scrapes of Basic White card stock and color them with Stampin Blends.
  8. Die cut the images with the matching Lazy Days dies.
  9. Arrange the images and adhere the images to the card with dimensionals.
  10. I didn’t want a sentiment on the front of the card so I stamped it inside the card.
