I recently participated in a Symbols of Fortune Creativity Abounds Stamp Camp and one of the challenges was a card sketch using the Symbol of Fortune Suite.
Here is the card sketch that Sara Sayers gave us. This is my card I created using the card sketch and the Symbols of Fortune Suite.
Cutting and instructions to create my card:
- Card base is Evening Evergreen card stock cut at 4 1/4 x 11 scored and fold at 5 1/2 to give you a book fold
- Symbols of Fortune Designer Series Paper is cut at 4 x 5 1/5 and adhere to the card base with liquid glue
- Cut a piece of the Symbols of Fortune Designer Series Paper at 2 1/4 x 2 1/4
- Layer it with Evening Evergreen Card stock that is 2 3/8 x 2 3/8
- Attach this layer to the card with dimensionals
- Die cut the Gingko Leaves in the Mother of Pearl Specialty Paper using the Good Fortune dies
- Adhere this behind the focal image with liquid glue. (just add glue to the larger parts of the leaves)
- Die cut the smaller leaves in Evening Evergreen card stock using the Good Fortune die and attach it to the focal image with a glue dot
- Stamp a sentiment in Evening Evergreen ink from the Crane of Fortune stamp set on a piece of Basic White
- Die cut the sentiment out with the Stitched Rectangle Dies
- Attach it to the focal image with dimensionals
- Place some Polished Dots to the card
