Symbols of Fortune Card Sketch

I recently participated in a Symbols of Fortune Creativity Abounds Stamp Camp and one of the challenges was a card sketch using the Symbol of Fortune Suite.

Here is the card sketch that Sara Sayers gave us. This is my card I created using the card sketch and the Symbols of Fortune Suite.

Cutting and instructions to create my card:

  1. Card base is Evening Evergreen card stock cut at 4 1/4 x 11 scored and fold at 5 1/2 to give you a book fold
  2. Symbols of Fortune Designer Series Paper is cut at 4 x 5 1/5 and adhere to the card base with liquid glue
  3. Cut a piece of the Symbols of Fortune Designer Series Paper at 2 1/4 x 2 1/4
  4. Layer it with Evening Evergreen Card stock that is 2 3/8 x 2 3/8
  5. Attach this layer to the card with dimensionals
  6. Die cut the Gingko Leaves in the Mother of Pearl Specialty Paper using the Good Fortune dies
  7. Adhere this behind the focal image with liquid glue. (just add glue to the larger parts of the leaves)
  8. Die cut the smaller leaves in Evening Evergreen card stock using the Good Fortune die and attach it to the focal image with a glue dot
  9. Stamp a sentiment in Evening Evergreen ink from the Crane of Fortune stamp set on a piece of Basic White
  10. Die cut the sentiment out with the Stitched Rectangle Dies
  11. Attach it to the focal image with dimensionals
  12. Place some Polished Dots to the card
