I made this Birthday card using the Two Tone Floral stamp set and dies, which is one of my favorite stamp set in the Annual catalogue. I used Calypso Coral and Flirty Flamingo ink for the flowers and Granny Apple Green for the leaves. It is embossed with the Thatched, Basic 3D embossing folder. The edge of the card is die cut using the Basic Border Dies. The Designer Series Paper is from the Hello Irresistible 6×6 paper pack which can be found in the Online Exclusive products.
Cutting and Complete Instructions to create this card:
- Card base is Calypso Coral card stock cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored and folded at 4 1/4″
- Cut a piece of Basic White card stock 3 1/2″ x 5 1/4″
- Die cut the edge of the Basic White card stock layer with the Basic Border die
- Stamp some of the leaf branches from the Two Tone Floral stamp set in Old Olive ink for a background
- Emboss the Basic White card stock layer with the Thatched Basic 3D embossing folder
- Cut a piece of the Hello Irresistible Designer Series Paper that is the Calypso Coral shade, 1 3/4″ x 5 1/4″ and attach to the card edge with liquid glue
- Attach the embossed Basic White card stock layer to the card base with liquid glue, overlapping the Designer Series Paper just a little
- On a scrap of Basic White card stock, stamp three of the Two Tone Floral flowers in Calypso Coral and stamp off the filler flower image in Flirty Flamingo, stamp some leaves in Granny Apple Green ink
- Die Cut the images using the matching Two Tone Floral dies
- Arrange the flowers and leaves over the leaf sprigs and pop them up with dimensionals
- Stamp a sentiment on a piece of Basic White card stock, from the Go To Greeting in Calypso Coral ink and add to the card with dimensionals
- Tie a triple looped bow with the Gold Simply Elegant Trim and attach to the card with a glue dot
- For some bling add some Ombre Matte Decorative Dots in Calypso Coral
