I made this card for a friend’s father, who is celebrating a big Birthday this month. I chose a design that I found on Pinterest. The designer’s name is Cindy Elam, Hearts Delight Card. I changed it up just a little by adding some Baker’s Twine and changing the embossing folder.
Cutting and Instructions to create this card:
- Card base is Boho Blue card stock cut at 8 1/2” x 5 1/2” scored at 4 1/4”
- Lightly brush the card base with Boho Blue ink using a Blending Brush
- Cut the Basic White card stock layer at 2” x 4 1/4”
- Cut a Boho Blue card stock layer at 1 7/8” x 4 1/8”
- Emboss the Boho Blue layer with the Thatched Basic 3D embossing folder and adhere to Basic White layer
- Attach to the card with dimensionals
- Using a piece of copy paper die cut a circle in the middle to make a template using the Stylish Shapes.
- Lay the template over a piece of Basic White card stock, stamp the wolf image from the Wildlife Wonder stamp set in Gray Granite
- Make a mask of the moon and place it in the sky
- Lightly brush the sky with Balmy Blue
- Lightly brush the wolf and rock with Gray Granite ink
- Die cut the stamped image out using the circle die from Stylish Shapes
- Make some loops and attach to the back of the stamped image with some tear and tape
- Pop the image up with dimensionals , stacking the dimensionals where needed
- Stamp a sentiment from the Wildlife stamp set in Gray Granite
- Fussy cut the sentiment out and add to the card with dimensionals
