Kylie International Highlight Blog Hop – March 2022

I’m so excited to be able to participate in Kylie’s Monthly International Highlight Blog Hop once again. There are Demonstrators from all over the World participating in this Blog Hop. I decided I wanted to think Spring, so I’m playing with the Flowering Rain Boots Bundle from the new Mini Catalogue. I love tulips and they make me think of Spring. Here are the instructions and cutting measurements to make my card.

Instructions and cutting measurements:

1. Card base is Basic White cut at 8 1/2″ x 51/2″ scored and folded at 4 1/4″.
2. Layer of Basic Gray card stock cut at 4″ x 5 1/4″ and adhered to the card base with liquid glue.
3. DSP layer is from the In Good Taste DSP cut at 3 3/4″ x 5 1/8″ and adhered to the Basic Gray card stock layer.
4. Cut a piece of Smokey Slate card stock at 1 1/2″ x 3 3/4″.
5. Run this through the Brick and Mortar 3D Embossing folder.
6. Make a faux bow using the Black 3/8″ Glittered Organdy Ribbon and attach it to the embossed layer with Tear and Tape.
7. Pop is layer up with dimensionals.
8. Stamp 3 of the plant pots from the Flowering Rain Boots stamp set in Smokey Slate ink and die cut them out with the Flowering Rain Boots Dies.
9. Stamp the tulip leaves in Old Olive and die cut them out.
10. Stamp the tulips in Highland Heather, Flirty Flamingo and So Saffron ink and die cut them out as well.
11. Die cut a circle from the Circle dies and light brush it with Smokey Slate using the Blending Brushes.
12. Put the leaves and tulips in the flower pots and then pop them up on the circle with dimensionals.
13. I added so Faux Sea Glass Shapes on the card for some bling.
