I’m so excited to be able to participate in Kylie’s Monthly International Highlight Blog Hop once again. There are Demonstrators from all over the World participating in this Blog Hop. I decided I wanted to think Spring, so I’m playing with the Flowering Rain Boots Bundle from the new Mini Catalogue. I love tulips and they make me think of Spring. Here are the instructions and cutting measurements to make my card.
Instructions and cutting measurements:
- Card base is Basic White cut at 8 1/2″ x 51/2″ scored and folded at 4 1/4″.
- Layer of Basic Gray card stock cut at 4″ x 5 1/4″ and adhered to the card base with liquid glue.
- DSP layer is from the In Good Taste DSP cut at 3 3/4″ x 5 1/8″ and adhered to the Basic Gray card stock layer.
- Cut a piece of Smokey Slate card stock at 1 1/2″ x 3 3/4″.
- Run this through the Brick and Mortar 3D Embossing folder.
- Make a faux bow using the Black 3/8″ Glittered Organdy Ribbon and attach it to the embossed layer with Tear and Tape.
- Pop is layer up with dimensionals.
- Stamp 3 of the plant pots from the Flowering Rain Boots stamp set in Smokey Slate ink and die cut them out with the Flowering Rain Boots Dies.
- Stamp the tulip leaves in Old Olive and die cut them out.
- Stamp the tulips in Highland Heather, Flirty Flamingo and So Saffron ink and die cut them out as well.
- Die cut a circle from the Circle dies and light brush it with Smokey Slate using the Blending Brushes.
- Put the leaves and tulips in the flower pots and then pop them up on the circle with dimensionals.
- I added so Faux Sea Glass Shapes on the card for some bling.
