It’s time once again for a Festive Friday Challenge. This challenge is designed by several Demonstrators from all around the world. We are given a list of 10 inspirational items to pick from and we must use at least 3 items to create our cards. This week’s challenge is World Hello Day FF#0147.
My inspirational items are Bright Colors, Two of Something and Hello
Cutting and Instructions to create this card:
- Card base is Berry Burst card stock, cut at 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 4 1/4″ and 5 1/4″ to create a book folding card
- Basic White card stock layers are 4 1/8″ x 4 1/8″ and 1 1/8″ x 4 1/8″
- Designer Series Paper is from the Bright and Beautiful collection, cut at 4″ x 4″ and 1″ x 4″
- Adhere the Basic White layers to the card base with liquid glue
- Adhere the 4″ x 4″ Designer Series Paper to the Basic White layer with liquid glue
- Before adhering the 1″ piece of Designer Series Paper to the card, tie a bow around the Designer Series Paper using the White and Silver Sheer ribbon, then adhere directly to the card with liquid glue
- On inside of the card, add Tear & Tape to the 1 1/4″ fold creating the book fold
- On a scrape of Basic White card stock, stamp two flowers from the Quiet Meadow stamp set in Memento Black ink
- Color the flowers with light and dark Berry Burst, light and dark Fresh Freesia and the centers in dark Daffodil Delight Stampin Blends
- Stamp some leaves from the Cheerful Daisies stamp set in Lemon Lime Twist ink
- Fussy cut the images out using Paper Snips
- Stamp a Hello sentiment from the Irresistible Blooms stamp set in Memento Black ink
- Punch out the sentiment with the Handmade Tag punch
- Lightly brush the edges of the tag with a Sponge Dauber in Berry Burst ink
- Attach the tag to the card with dimensionals
- Add the flowers and leaves to the card with dimensionals
- Add some Basic Rhinestones to finish the card
- Cut a piece of Basic white card stock 4 1/8″ x 4 1/8″ for the inside of the card
- Stamp a flower on the Basic White card stock and color it with Stampin Blends and add this layer to the inside of the card with liquid glue
