Festive Friday Challenge-International Dog Day-#FF0115

It’s time once again for another Festive Friday Challenge. This Challenge is designed by several very talented Demonstrators from all around the world. They give us an Inspiration list of 10 items to pick from and we must pick at least 3 to create our cards. This weeks Challenge is International Dog Day #FF0115.

For my card I choice Texture, Dog and Twine

  1. Card base is 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored and folded at 4 1/4″
  2. Use the Layering Diorama dies, die cut the center out of the card base
  3. Emboss the front of the card with the Brick and Mortar ,embossing folder
  4. Using Sponge Daubers and Smoky Slate, Soft Suede and Crumb Cake ink, lightly sponge on the bricks to make them look more realistic
  5. On a piece of 4″ x 5 1/4″ Basic White card stock stamp the image from the In the Moment stamp set in Memento Black Ink
  6. Color the image with Water Color Pencils
  7. I used a Blender Pen to soften the water coloring
  8. Attach the colored image to the back of the embossed brick image with dimensionals
  9. Stamp the sentiment from the In The Moment stamp set in Soft Suede and fussy cut out the sentiment and attach to the card with dimensionals
  10. Tie a double bow with the Linen Thread and attack it to the card with a glue dot
