It’s time once again for another Festive Friday Challenge. This challenge is designed by several Demonstrators from all around the world. We are given a list of 10 inspirational items to pick from and we must use at least 3 to create out cards. This weeks challenge is World Mental Health Day #FF0144. I decided to use the Beauty by the Sea stamp set.
The Inspirational items I used to create my card was Blue, Green, Sparkle and Frame.
Cutting and Instructions to create this card:
- Card base is Basic White card stock cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2 ” scored and folded at 4 1/4″
- With Blending Brushes and Pool Party, Coastal Cabanna and Balmy Blue ink , lightly brush the Basic White card stock with the inks creating an under water scene
- Cut another piece of Basic White card stock 5 1/4″ x 4″ and lightly blend this layer the same as the card base. I brushed it a little lighter than the card base
- Use the 3 1/4″ Deckled Circle die and die cut a circle in the center of the card layer. Brush the edges of the circle opening with Coastal Cabanna ink, darkening the edges a little
- Lightly mark the circle opening with a pencil to give yourself an area to create the under water scene
- Stamp the coral reel in Versa Mark ink and heat emboss in White Embossing Powder
- Stamp the long leafy image on the card base in Old Olive ink and the small leaves in Garden Green ink and do second generation as well
- On a scrape of Basic White card stock, stamp the long leafy image in Old Olive and Garden Green ink. Color them with a Blender Pen
- Stamp the fish in Memento Black ink and color the fish with light Lemon Lolly Stampin Blends
- Stamp the anchor in Gray Granite ink
- Die cut these images and add to the card with dimenstionals
- Add some Basic Rhinestones and some Loose Silver Sequins to the card for some bling
This card was picked as a Festive Friday Faves. Thank you
