Stampin Dreams Blog Hop – Thoughts and Prayers – Hello Irresistible – October

I am so excited to be able to participate in the Stampin Dreams Blog Hop. We are a group of Demonstrators from all around the World, who love to share what we do. Each month we participate and share projects we are working on. Our theme this month is Thoughts and Prayers.

I am using the Hello Irresistible Bundle and the Silver 12 x 12 Foil from the Online Exclusive Products. The Silver Foil comes in a pack of three sheets, Brushed Silver, Matte Charcoal and Mirrored Charcoal. The finish gives it a very different silver tone. The Matte Charcoal has almost a purplish tone which worked well with the Highland Heather card stock and inks.

Cutting and Instructions to create this card:

  1. Card base is Highland Heather card stock cut at 8 1/2″ x 4 1/2 ” scored at 4 1/4″
  2. Cut a piece of Matte Charcoal Silver Foil from the Online Exclusives at 4″ x 5 1/4″
  3. Here’s a little tip, to save some of the silver foil paper, die cut the circle from the Irresistible Blooms dies out of the center before you attach the silver foil layer to the card base
  4. Cut a Basic White card stock layer 3 3/4″ x 5″ and adhere to the sliver layer with Stampin Seal
  5. Place the silver die cut circle to the Basic White layer with liquid glue
  6. Stamp a sentiment from the So Sincere stamp set in Highland Heather ink, directly on the Basic White layer
  7. On a scrap of Basic White card stock stamp two of the smaller flowers from the Irresistible Blooms stamps set in Highland Heather and the leaves in Granny Apple Green ink
  8. Die cut the flowers and leaves out using the matching Irresistible Blooms dies
  9. Place them on the circle with dimensionals
  10. Tie a bow using the Silver and White 1/2″ Sheer Ribbon and attach to the card with glue dots
  11. Add some Basic Rhinestone to finish the card

Now let’s hop over to see the other Demonstrators and their wonderful creations
