On World Card Making day we had to do a picture challenge where we had to look at a photograph and design a card with what we saw in the photograph whether if was colors or elements. World Card Making day Challenge Gorgeous Leaves
Card Instructions:
- Cut a card base of Old Olive at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and score at 4 1/4″
- With a piece of Basic White card stock cut at 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ , stamp your own DSP using the Gorgeous Leaves stamp set and Old Olive, So Saffron, Cajun Craze, Crumb Cake and Early Espresso inks
- Cut this layer to 4″ x 5 1/4″ then sponge the edges with So Saffron and glue it directly to the card base
- Using So Saffron card stock, cut a tag from the Tailored Make Tag die set
- Sponge the edges with So Saffron ink and stamp a sentiment
- Put a small piece of White 1/4″ Crinkle Seam Binding in the hole and then tie a piece of white twine around the ribbon
- Stamped two leaves in Old Olive and die cut them out
- Cut a circle out of vellum
- So the glue does not show through the vellum, put the leaves on the vellum first using dimensionals
- Mount the tag on the card with dimensionals and then glue the vellum to the tag, placing the glue where it will not be seen through the vellum
- Place some Brushed Metallic Adhesive Dots on the card
