March Monthly International Blog Highlight Gallery Hop – Irresistible Blooms – Thinking of You

I am so excited to once again participate in Kylie Bertucci’s International Card Challenge. This card challenge is made up of very talented Demonstrators from all around the World, who create amazing cards and you get to vote and pick your favorite cards and later on in the month, the Top Ten Winners get to participate in an International Blog Hop.

I wanted to use one of my favorite stamp sets from the Online Exclusives. This bundle is called the Irresistible Blooms. I stamped the flowers in Calypso Coral and the leaves in Old Olive. The die cut layer is the Countryside Corners and embossed with the Thatched Basic 3D embossing folder. Don’t forget to check the Online Exclusive Products as there are some great products and they will never appear in a catalogue.

• Card Stock – Calypso Coral, Basic White
• Inks – Calypso Coral, Old Olive
• Embossing Powder – Gold
• Embellishments – Gold Simply Elegant Trim, Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels, Brush Brass Butterflies

Cutting and Instructions to complete is card:

1. Card base is Basic White card stock, cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored and folded at 4 1/4″
2. Cut a Delightful Floral Designer Series Paper at 4″ x 5 1/4 ” and adhere it to the card base with liquid glue
3. Die cut a piece of Basic White and Calypso Coral card stock with the same Countryside Corner die
4. Emboss the Basic White layer die with the Thatched 3D Basic Embossing folder
5. Off set the 2 layers and glue them together with liquid glue
6. Pop this layer onto the card base with dimensionals
7. On a piece of Basic White card stock, stamp some flowers from the Irresistible Blooms in Calypso Coral and the leaves in Old Olive.
8. Die cut the images out with the matching Irresistible Bloom dies
9. Arrange the flowers and leaves the way you want them on the card
10. Before adding the flowers and leaves to the card, make a couple of large loops using the Gold Simply Elegant Trim and attach to the back of the flowers
11. Place the flowers and leaves to the card with dimensionals
12. Stamp a sentiment from the Go To Greeting in Versa Mark and then heat emboss with Gold embossing powder
13. Flag the one end and add to the card
14. Add a Brushed Brass Butterfly and some Iridescent Rhinestones to the finished card
