Stampin Up® – Blessings of Home© – Water colored Z Fold Card

It’s time for another Festive Friday Challenge. This Challenge is created by several very talented Demonstrators from all over the World. This weeks Challenge is World Art Day #FF0106. We are given a list of 10 items to pick from to create a fun and inspiration card. We must use at least 3 items from the list to create a card.

I choice Water Color Paper, Water Color Pencils and Frame

Here are the cutting and instructions to create my card:

1. Card Base is Mango Melody card stock cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored at 2 1/8″ and 4 1/4″
2. Fold card in half at 4 1/4″ and then back at the 2 1/8″ to form a Z fold.
3. Cut a piece of the 6 x 6 Designer Series Assortment Paper in Mango Melody at 2″ x 5 3/8″and attach to the card base.
4. Cut a piece of Basic White card stock at 4″ x 2 3/4″
5. Cut a piece of Mango Melody card stock at 3 7/8″ x 2 5/8″
6. Cut a piece of Water Color paper at 3 7/8″ x 2 5/8″ and die cut it with the Scalloped Contour Dies.
7. Use StazOn Ink and stamp an image from the Blessings of Home stamp set onto the water color paper.
8. Color the image using Water Colored Pencils. I used Daffodil Delight, Mango Melody and Granny Apple Green.
9. Use a Blender Pen and blend the colors together to soften the colors.
10. Lightly blend some Balmy Blue around the outer edge of the image to add some definition to the image.
11. Stamp a sentiment from the Timeless Tulips stamp set in Mango Melody onto the Water Color Paper.
12. Glue the Basic White layer, the Mango Melody layer and the Water Color paper together with liquid glue.
13. Attach only the left side of the focal image to the card with dimensionals.
14. Cut a piece of Basic White card stock for the inside of the card at 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″.
15. Stamp an image onto the Basic White layer, placing it so it is hidden behind the front image layer.
16. Glue the Basic White layer to the inside of the card.
17. Add some 2020 – 2022 In Color Jewels to the card for some bling.
